After the magnificent and successful IPL auction held on 19th december 2023 for the upcoming season of IPL 2024 which is Indian premier league season 17. This auction comes with the highest bid of IPL history which is on Mitchlle Starc for 24.75cr.this auction was held in Coca Cola Arena in Dubai in which 72 players were sold at a whopping price of Rs. 230.45 crore. Notably, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) opted not to utilize their complete allocation of 25 players, with KKR finalizing 23 players and RR securing 22. It is noteworthy that all 30 overseas player slots were fully occupied, underscoring the widespread global appeal and the diverse pool of talent in the IPL.
